A Chinese national was stopped by Leicestershire Police in a vehicle in Leicester on 12th June 2008. In the vehicle numerous rucksacks were found containing over 400 counterfeit Hollywood films and 149 pornography discs. The driver was also in possession of a false Italian driving license and alleged to be in the country illegally. He was subsequently arrested and remanded in custody.
On 23rd April 2008 Officers from Norfolk Constabulary executed a drugs warrant at a residential address in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The Officers seized 440 counterfeit DVDs, 2 computers and 4 DVD burners. The subject was arrested and later released on bail.
On 5th April 2007 officers from Nottingham City Council Trading Standards Service searched a residential address in Nottingham where they seized 2,210 counterfeit DVDs and a quantity of counterfeit clothing all of which the subject had been selling on eBay. The subject was consequently arrested.
