A Chinese male was observed selling DVDs in Boscombe High Street. He was arrested and found to be in possession of counterfeit product as well as obscene material such as bestiality. On questioning it transpired that he was an absconder from Harmandsworth Immigration Detention Centre having been served notice for deportation.
In view of this, police decided not to pursue a prosecution and he was transferred back to Harmondsworth for deportation back to China.

East Sussex Police received a complaint that an airport worker was involved in the sale and distribution of DVDs at the work place. The defendant was also alleged to have committed acts of theft whilst working at the airport. A search warrant was executed at the defendants’ home address and counterfeit DVDs were discovered. Primary computer analysis also suggests that the defendant was involved in film related internet piracy. Police also found items from the airport which had been reported as missing.
Investigations are currently ongoing into the alleged theft.
Hampshire Police received a complaint from a member of the public who had purchased a film from a Chinese DVD seller. When the member of the public subsequently viewed the disc, he found that it contained scenes of paedophilia and reported the matter immediately to the Police. Hampshire Police carried out a series of observations at a local trading estate and arrested the Chinese male. The male was found in possession of a number of paedophilic discs. A section 18 house search was carried out at the male’s home address and further 818 DVDs and pornographic discs were seized.
During a routine raid at a local boot fair, Police arrested two Chinese males who were overtly selling counterfeit DVDs and pornography. Upon searching the males, Police found one of the males in possession of a large knife.
