| Is
my DVD Genuine?
A genuine DVD:
- Cannot be bought from
fly pitchers, street sellers, or door to door
sales persons.
- Will, in most circumstances,
not be sold from open air markets, car boot
sales or from dubious looking websites or online
auctions. Remember if it seems too cheap to
be true – it is probably a pirate copy!
- Will have a film company
hologram on the inner sleeve.
- Will be BBFC classified,
i.e. PG, 12 etc. Remember:
- You will not be able to
purchase a DVD of a film that is not yet released
in UK cinemas OR
- a DVD of a new
release film that is currently showing in UK
cinemas.
